The goal of Arts Health Network Canada is to bring arts and health activities into the mainstream of Canadian life so that all Canadians are able to engage in art for the health of it, as well as the joy of it.

Experience and research in other countries indicates that arts-based activities are powerful contributors to individual health and well-being, to community health, and to reducing costs and increasing effectiveness of medical diagnosis and treatment.
