That’s Just Crazy Talk’ is the product of a collaborative research study and the culmination of several years of preparation, by Drs. Erin Michalak and Sagar V. Parikh in partnership with the Collaborative Research Team to study Bipolar Disorder (CREST.BD), and the Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments (CANMAT). The project is supported by a Knowledge Translation grant from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research. The play is both written and performed by Victoria Maxwell, who is an acclaimed actress and mental health educator. Based on Victoria’s lived experiences with bipolar disorder, it describes one woman’s journey of coming to terms with mental illness within herself and in her family. Doors open at 6:30pm, curtain opens at 7:00pm. Please note that registration is required.
